Warrior & Family Program

The Warrior & Family Program is an opportunity for lupus patients and their families to receive a moment of financial freedom to enjoy life in every capacity available. Under this program, funding is provided to a patient’s family to assist with unexpected, outstanding medical bills, and/or desired personal use.

Crowning Lupus understands that living with a chronic illness is not an easy situation. Financially, the cost associated with “Life with Lupus” can create a number of physical, mental, and emotional issues for the survivor and their family support system. Lupus patients deserve the opportunity to have a moment not committed to medical bills or medication. Under this program, we give a patient a small donation that can be used as desired.

Through this organization, we serve over 200 people living with lupus in Aiken, South Carolina & surrounding areas including New Ellenton, Barnwell, Williston, Jackson, Edgefield, Graniteville, Columbia, Lexington, and Orangeburg.  We also serve people living in the following areas of Georgia: Augusta, Richmond, Evans, Georgetown, and Hephzibah.

Warrior Wednesday is the monthly lupus support group hosted by Crowning Lupus for lupus patients and other chronic illness warriors.

Our Program

Royal Rollers Program

The Royal Rollers Program is an opportunity for the community to support our “Anchors of Wisdom” (chronic illness patients) and underserved elementary and middle school students. We want to ensure that no member of our chronic illness community goes without a meal, especially during flares. In addition, we want to ensure that students go home with the meals needed to survive and thrive.

It is designed to offer a supply of meals and snacks, free of charge, for students enrolled at the school over the weekends and/or extended breaks. Each month, non-perishable food items are delivered to the school containing food for breakfasts, lunch, snacks, and dinner.

For students, the program is intended to help those children whose families find it difficult to have access to enough food for the entire month, all children are eligible for this program. It is our hope that this program will improve the health, behavior, and achievement of the students.

Our Program

Crowning Wishes Program

The Crowning Wishes program is geared towards recognizing individuals battling chronic illness diseases by making their dream a reality! From sending our first recipient to Disney World to helping patient’s pay for dream vacations for their family, we are committed to providing smiles for patients battling chronic illness, specifically lupus.
